SK04-Aux In

The Aux In module allows additional input signals to be injected into the Synkie. It is built around a MAX7450 signal conditioner IC which clamps black to ground. In addition, it has a low-clip at 0V on the output, which cuts off the sync pulses.

SK02-Resyncer

Together with the Sync Splitter Module, this forms the basis of the Synkie system. The Resyncer is the Synkie’s output stage. It takes a siff signal and a sync signal as inputs and restores a standard composite video signal from the siff signal by inserting the sync pulses and color burst from the sync signal. The outputs of the Resyncer can be directly connected to standard video equipment, such as a monitor.

SK01-Sync Splitter

Together with the Resyncer Module, this forms the basis of the Synkie system. The Sync-Splitter will split the video signal into 2 separate signals, the sync signal, containing only the sync pulses and color burst of the original input signal, and the siff signal containing only image portions of the input signal, with blackĀ and sync and colorburst at GND level.
