SK02-Resyncer
You are viewing an old revision of this post, from March 10, 2012 @ 15:34:38. See below for differences between this version and the current revision.
Together with the Sync Splitter Module, this forms the basis of the Synkie system. The Resyncer is the Synkie’s output stage. It takes a siff signal and a sync signal as inputs and restores a standard composite video signal from the siff signal by inserting the sync pulses and color burst from the sync signal. The outputs of the Resyncer can be directly connected to standard video equipment, such as a monitor.

Observations
Power draw depends on input signal; in particular, if the input sync splitter has its input disconnected, the power draw on -5V of the Resyncer goes up from around 25 mA to 50 mA!
